RSVP on the RSVP page of the wedding website.
We'll be accepting RSVPs until June 1st, 2025.
We will be using The Treasury on the Plaza 24 Cathedral Pl #111, St. Augustine, FL 32084 for both the ceremony and reception.
If you're staying in downtown St. Augustine, you can walk, drive, or Uber.
It's hard to find street parking on the weekend, so we recommend parking at the Historic Downtown Parking Facility which reliably has parking and is a 14 min walk from the venue.
Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place indoors.
The Orlando International Airport (MCO) usually has the most flight options and best prices. St. Augustine is roughly a 2 hour drive from the Orlando airport. Alternatively, both Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) and Daytona Beach Airport are only 1 hour away, but have fewer flight options and typically more expensive.
See the Travel section for more details.
The dress code is semi-formal, but you're welcome to go all-out and wear formal/black tie if that's your vibe.
The weather will be pretty hot outside, so we want to make sure folks don't melt during the few minutes they're outside between the car/hotel/Uber and the venue. Semi-formal attire allows men to skip a tie and women to choose midi or tea-length dresses, which offers additional comfort in the Florida summers.
If you're looking for more details, this article has some great examples of semi-formal attire. Just remember that you're allowed to dress up more, but ideally not less than what's described on this page.
For women:
We recommend wearing a dress or skirt that is knee-length or longer. If dresses aren't your style, a nice blouse and dress pants are also acceptable. Just remember that the wedding is indoors, so you can wear something a little more formal than what you'd wear to a beach wedding.
If you want to narrow down your search and match the theme, it will be in the green/sage-y family, but you're welcome to wear any color except white--that's traditionally reserved for the bride.
For men:
We ask that you wear a suit, but the tie is optional. We know that it's hot outside, but since the event is indoors, you'll only have to brace the heat for a short time during which you can remove your suit jacket.
Semi-formal attire allows you to expand your color pallet beyond black, so grey, navy, and neutral colored suits are also welcome.
What not to wear:
We ask that you avoid wearing shorts, jeans, flip-flops, or t-shirts/Hawaiian shirts. We want to make sure that everyone is comfortable, but we also want to make sure that our wedding is a special occasion for everyone.
Florida summers are hot and humid, but fortunately the event is indoors and air conditioned. Short but heavy storms are common, so consider bringing a packable umbrella just in case there's rain.
Compared to the heat outdoors, businesses often keep temperatures low indoors, so individuals who are prone to getting cold may want to bring a light sweater or jacket.
Yes, and please include them in your RSVP. However, we will not be able to add new plus-ones after the RSVP date since we need to finalize meals and the seating chart in advance of the event.
Yes! Children are welcome. Similar to plus-ones, please include them in your RSVP.
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entrée. The primary options are beef and chicken, but if please reach out if you have any dietary restrictions so we can accommodate them.
The primary meal options are listed above, but please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies and we can request accommodations from the caterer.
There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception.
You can find our registry here.
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you're welcome to bring it to the reception or deliver to our home in Washington (please reach out to us at bakerbarawedding@gmail.com and we can send your our address). A wedding card box will also be available at our reception.
Our wedding will take place at The Treasury on the Plaza on July 12th 2025. The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm sharp, followed by a cocktail hour and reception, which is anticipated to wrap up at 11:00pm.
The doors to the venue will open 30 minutes ahead of our ceremony start time at 5:30. If driving, we recommend parking 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk up to 20 minutes from the parking garage and find a seat.
Our reception will end at 11:00pm, and we do not have an official after-party, but there are plenty of bars in the area if you want to keep the night going.
A 1 hour cocktail hour will take place at The Treasury on the Plaza where you can enjoy cocktails, mocktails, and small bites.
We have plenty of suggestions listed in the "Things to do" section of our Travel page
We kindly ask that you keep our wedding ceremony "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day (plus, it ruins the professional photos).
Of course! Neither of us are particularly active on social media, but you're still welcome to post photos and tag us in them!
We will be livestreaming our ceremony for guests who can't attend physically. We'll share details closer to the event date.
Additional updates or changes that need your attention will appear on our wedding website homepage.
Given the unpredictable nature of Florida summers, you may want to bring an umbrella just in case there is rain. Don't be fooled by a sunny morning--if you choose to skip an umbrella, make sure to check the weather forecast since the skies can go from beautifully sunny to heavy rain in a matter of minutes.
Email us at the address listed on the RSVP confirmation email, or contact either of us directly.
